    The Office of the Chief Justice is pleased to announce its new TVET Learnership Programme for the 2024/2025 financial year, inviting recent TVET graduates to embark on an 18-month journey of professional growth and practical experience. This programme is a golden opportunity for those holding an N6 certificate from a Public TVET college, looking to gain hands-on work experience in various administrative and financial sectors within the judiciary.


    Opportunities Across Various Fields

    The learnership programme offers positions in Public Management/Administration, Financial Management, and Human Resource Management. These roles are spread across several locations, including Polokwane High Court, National Office in Midrand, Thohoyandou High Court, East London (Provincial Services Centre), and the High Court Makhanda. Each position offers a stipend of R4,500 per month, providing financial support while learners gain invaluable work experience.

    Eligibility and Application Process

    Ideal candidates for this programme are unemployed graduates aged between 18-35 years, who have never participated in an internship programme previously. The Office of the Chief Justice is an equal opportunity employer, strongly encouraging persons with disabilities to apply and aiming to align with departmental Employment Equity goals.

      • Ref No: TVE/01/OCJ
      • Location: Polokwane High Court
      • Requirements: N6 in Public Management/Administration and Office Administration.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    2. TVET Learnership: Financial Management
      • Ref No: TVE/02/OCJ
      • Location: National Office, Midrand
      • Requirements: N6 in Financial Management/Accounting Cost and Management Accounting.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    3. TVET Learnership: Public Management/Administration
      • Ref No: TVE/03/OCJ
      • Location: Thohoyandou High Court
      • Requirements: N6 in Public Management/Administration and Office Administration.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    4. TVET Learnership – Human Resource Management
      • Ref No: TVE/04/OCJ
      • Location: East London (Provincial Services Centre)
      • Requirements: N6 in Human Resource Management.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    5. TVET Learnership: Public Management/Administration

      • Location: East London Provincial Services Centre
      • Requirements: N6 in Public Management/Administration and Office Administration.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    6. TVET Learnership: Public Management/Administration
      • Ref No: TVE/06/OCJ
      • Location: High Court Makhanda
      • Requirements: N6 in Public Management/Administration and Office Administration.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    7. TVET Learnership: Public Management/Administration
      • Ref No: TVE/07/OCJ
      • Location: National Office
      • Requirements: N6 in Public Management/Administration and Office Administration.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    8. TVET Learnership: Financial Management
      • Ref No: TVE/08/OCJ
      • Location: Gauteng Provincial Service Centre
      • Requirements: N6 in Financial Management specializing in Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, as well as Entrepreneurship & Business Management.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month.
    9. TVET Learnership – Human Resource Management
      • Ref No: TVE/09/OCJ
      • Location: Gauteng Provincial Services Centre
      • Requirements: N6 in Human Resource Management specializing in Personnel Management as well as Entrepreneurship & Business Management.
      • Stipend: R4,500 per month​​.
