Requirements:
- Grade 10 / ABET / AET or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
Knowledge, Competencies, and Skills:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in reading and writing.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles (people first).
- Prior farm work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with various types of farm activities would be advantageous.
Duties:
- Apply chemical crop protection methods.
- Cultivate and prepare soil for planting.
- Manage irrigation systems for crops.
- Provide care for sick livestock.
- Conduct dipping, vaccination, and dosing of livestock.
- Perform daily livestock counts.
- Maintain crops, orchards, or vineyards.
- Clean facilities and dispose of farm waste materials.
- Participate in firefighting and prevention efforts.
- Maintain and repair windmills and water supply systems.

Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Farm Aid Application Requirements:
- Applicants must use the prescribed 2021 Z83 form.
- Use the most recent Z83 form as issued by the Minister for the Public Service and Administration.
- Ensure the Z83 form is fully completed, signed, dated, and initialed by the applicant.
- Complete all fields in Part A, Part C, and Part D of the Z83 form.
- Provide all information in Part B except for passport numbers for South African applicants.
- Respond appropriately to questions in Part B regarding business with the State and registration requirements.
- Use “refer to Curriculum Vitae (CV)” for additional information in Part E, F, & G if space is insufficient, ensuring the CV is attached.
- Answer questions under Part F related to conditions preventing re-appointment.
- Complete and sign the declaration section of the Z83 form.
- Include only the completed and signed Z83 form and a recently updated comprehensive CV (with detailed previous experience).
- Submit certified copies of Identity Document, Senior Certificate, highest required qualification, and driver’s license (if necessary) by shortlisted candidates before the interview date.
Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Farm Aid Application Process:

- Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates; unsuccessful applicants will not be notified within 90 days.
- Applicants dissatisfied with administrative actions can request reasons within 90 days under the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act.

- Candidates with foreign qualifications must attach SAQA accreditation.
