Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and provide essential care within your scope of practice. Some of your primary duties will include:
- Implementing basic nursing care within the guidelines for enrolled nurses.
- Assisting in administering vaccinations for the HPV campaign.
- Conducting health education and supporting the public in preventing HPV-related diseases.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with professional standards and ethical conduct.
Requirements
To be eligible for the Staff Nurse Grade 1 role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Qualifications: A qualification that allows you to register with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an enrolled nurse.
- Registration: You must be currently registered with the SANC.
- Other: You should be willing to work after hours and be on call, including for shift work.
