Minimum Requirements
Applicants interested in this position must meet the following requirements:
- Education: ABET (Adult Basic Education and Training), Standard 8, or Grade 10.
- Additional Advantage: A valid driver’s license will be considered advantageous.
- Work Experience: At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar cleaning environment is required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks aimed at ensuring a hygienic and organized workspace. The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and Maintaining Office Spaces
- Dusting and waxing office furniture.
- Sweeping, scrubbing, and waxing floors.
- Vacuuming and shampooing carpets and floors.
- Cleaning walls, windows, and other surfaces.
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins.
- Removing waste and freshening up office areas.
- General Kitchen Cleaning
- Cleaning sinks and basins.
- Washing and managing the stock of kitchen utensils.
- Restroom Maintenance
- Refilling liquid hand soap.
- Replacing toilet paper, hand towels, and air fresheners.
- Emptying and washing waste bins.
- Maintenance of Cleaning Equipment and Supplies
- Reporting damaged or broken cleaning equipment.
- Cleaning machines such as microwaves and vacuum cleaners after use.
- Requesting new cleaning materials and supplies as needed.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates should have knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Conducting repetitive tasks with precision.
