    Administration Officer Job Purpose

    The role of the Administration Officer is to supervise the provision of administration and support services within the Municipal Court. This critical role ensures smooth operations by managing staff, systems, and resources efficiently.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    1. Staff Supervision and Communication
      • Provide guidance to staff members.
      • Share updates on policies and memoranda.
    2. Equipment Maintenance
      • Monitor the servicing and functionality of office equipment.
    3. Case Management
      • Maintain and oversee the court’s case management system.
    4. Data Coordination
      • Collect, coordinate, and control court-related statistics.
    5. Financial Administration
      • Manage petty cash expenditure and ensure proper documentation.
    6. Incident Records Management
      • Document all incidents affecting court functions.
    7. Record Keeping
      • Oversee the retrieval, archiving, binding, and updating of court records.

    Minimum Requirements

    To be considered for the role, applicants must meet the following essential requirements:

    • Education:
      • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
      • Administrative certificate.
    • Experience:
      • 3 years of relevant experience.
    • Skills:
      • Computer literacy.
      • A valid motor vehicle driving license.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Diploma (NQF Level 6) or equivalent qualification in Administration.
    • 4 years of relevant experience.
