    The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJ&CD) invites qualified and experienced South Africans to apply for various positions. These roles are tailored to suit individuals with diverse skills and educational backgrounds who are eager to contribute to South Africa’s justice system.

    Department of Justice and Constitutional Development Job Opportunities Available:

    1. Director: Family Advocate
      • Reference No: 24/80/MAS
      • Salary: R1 216 824 – R1 433 355 per annum (inclusive package)
      • Location: National Office, Pretoria
      • Requirements:
        • LLB or equivalent (NQF level 7), admitted Advocate/Attorney, right of appearance in the High Court.
        • Knowledge of Family Law, Children’s Act, and international child protection laws.
      • Key Responsibilities:
        • Manage the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction.
        • Oversee Family Advocate services and Forensic Social Work.

    2. Director: Integrated Criminal Justice System
      • Reference No: 24/77/CA
      • Salary: R1 216 824 – R1 433 355 per annum (inclusive package)
      • Location: National Office, Pretoria
      • Requirements:
        • LLB Qualification (NQF level 7), Nyukela Certificate.
        • Experience in criminal justice and legislative reform.
      • Key Responsibilities:
        • Facilitate Integrated Criminal Justice strategies and legislative reforms.
        • Manage modernization programs and stakeholder relations.

    3. Director: ICT Security Operations
      • Reference No: 24/78/ICT
      • Salary: R1 216 824 – R1 433 355 per annum (inclusive package)
      • Location: National Office, Pretoria
      • Requirements:
        • Undergraduate qualification in ICT (NQF level 7), Nyukela Certificate.
        • Knowledge of ISO 27001, cybersecurity standards, and government-wide architecture.
      • Key Responsibilities:
        • Develop and manage ICT security policies and frameworks.
        • Oversee ICT security infrastructure operations.

    4. Cluster Manager: Court Interpreting
      • Reference No: 2024/12/MP
      • Salary: R444 036 – R532 602 per annum
      • Location: Mbombela Magistrate’s Office
      • Requirements:
        • Grade 12 and National Diploma in Legal Interpreting (NQF level 5).
        • Six years of interpreting experience, with three in a supervisory role.

        • Manage language services and train interpreters in the province.

    5. Administrative Officer (Office of the Director-General)

      • Salary: R308 154 – R362 994 per annum

      • Requirements:
        • Diploma/Degree in Office Administration (NQF level 6).
        • Experience in office administration and financial management.
      • Key Responsibilities:
        • Provide administrative and financial support in the DG’s office.

    Application Guidelines

    Applicants for Department of Justice and Constitutional Development Job Opportunities are required to submit the following:

    1. Completed and Signed New Form Z83: Available from any Public Service Department or online at gov.za.
    2. Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
    3. Certified copies of qualifications, including:
      • Identity Document
      • Senior Certificate
      • Highest required qualification
      • Driver’s license (if applicable)
    4. SAQA Evaluation Report: For foreign qualifications.
    5. Pre-entry Certificate: From the National School of Government (NSG), mandatory for Senior Management Service (SMS) roles.

    Note: Certified copies and additional documents must be submitted by shortlisted candidates on or before the interview date.
