    • Position Title: Secretary
    • Reference Number: 25/27/MFLS
    • Location: Master of the High Court, Pretoria
    • Salary: R216,417 – R254,928 per annum
    • Closing Date: 22 April 2025

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Secretary at the Master of the High Court, your duties will include:

    • Travel Coordination: Arrange travel and process related claims for the manager and unit members.
    • Secretarial Services: Provide efficient secretarial support to the manager.
    • Office Administration: Handle general clerical tasks and office management.
    • Report Compilation: Coordinate unit activities and compile various reports.
    • Diary Management: Manage the manager’s schedule effectively.

    Requirements

    To be eligible for this position, you must have:

    • Educational Qualifications: Grade 12 certificate with typing as a subject, or a Secretarial Certificate, or any relevant qualification that equips you for the role.
    • Knowledge: Understanding of financial, provisioning, and administrative procedures and processes.
    • Office Management: Familiarity with office management procedures and processes.
    • Confidentiality: Understanding the importance of confidentiality in government operations and relevant legislation.

    Skills and Competencies

    The ideal candidate should possess:

    • Computer literacy
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
    • Ability to plan and organize tasks effectively
    • Intermediate typing skills (including typing advanced documents with tables and graphs)
    • Ability to correctly interpret relevant documents
    • Good interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation
