Expenditure Administrator Job Description

The Expenditure Administrator will support the Human Settlements Department at eThekwini Municipality, particularly within the Finance branch. The position is graded as T09 and reports directly to the department’s Accountant. The main purpose of the role is to aid in financial, accounting, and budgeting services crucial to the municipality’s housing department.

Responsibilities

This role requires precision in handling financial records, payments, and income and expenditure scheduling. Below is a detailed look at the primary responsibilities:

    • Verify and check service orders to ensure all are valid and processed efficiently.

  7. Plant and Asset Register Reconciliation:

Essential Requirements
