Requirements
- Minimum three (03) years'
- Bachelor's degree/Advanced Diploma/BTech NQF Level 7 in Finance/Financial Management/Accounting.
- A minimum of three (03) years’ experience in financial management at a junior management level.
- A valid driver's license Skills and Competencies: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical capabilities and sound report writing skills.
- Better understanding of the transversal systems of BAS and LOGIS.
- Knowledge and experience of relevant financial systems.
- Knowledge of government policies, practices, and related Acts and regulations such as PFMA, DORA, and Treasury Regulations.
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
- Innovative problem-solving ability.
- The ability to work independently.
- Applied knowledge of all relevant PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
Duties
- Analyse own revenue trends and compile a monthly consolidated report for the Departments.
- Support Departments and Entities in the maximisation of revenue and monitoring performance of provincial own revenue collection and compile quarterly feedback letters for feedback on revenue performance.
- Analyze own revenue projections for departments.
- Review revenue tariffs for Departments and recommend for approval.
- Conduct quarterly training for revenue and cashiers in revenue management.
- Conduct quarterly revenue forums for own revenue management.
- Manage human and financial resources.
