Requirements
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Chemistry or Soil Science as recognized by SAQA.
- Valid compulsory registration with SACNASP as a Certificated Natural Scientist.
- Three (3) years’ post-qualification technical (scientific) experience.
- Knowledge of the soils, water, feed, essential oils and plant material analyses;
- Relevant understanding of the functioning of Laboratory equipment.
- Technical Competencies: Programme and project management.
- Scientific methodologies.
- Research and development.

Duties
- Analytical analysis of samples (soils, water, feed, essential oils and plant material) and responding timeously to our clients;
- Assist in the development of new analytical procedures.
- To perform technical scientific analysis and regulatory functions.
- Research and development.
- Human capital development.
- Supervise, mentor and guide Laboratory Assistants;
- Keep up to date with regard to the applicable regulations, prescripts, policies, procedures, technologies and new developments to be able to render an efficient and effective service to our clients.
