Requirements
- An appropriate Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc/BVMCh or equivalent qualification) recognised by the South African Veterinary Council;
- Compulsory registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC);
- A minimum of 1 year post qualification experience;
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving license.
- Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Extensive fieldwork and exposure to infectious diseases;
- Ability to work in high-pressure outbreak environments;
- Physical mobility and ability to conduct inspections and investigations;
- Availability for after-hours and emergency response.
- Skills in the following: Computer literacy;
- Financial Management;
- Statistical;
- Research;
- Analytical;
- Communication;
- Interpretation.
