    The Role and Responsibilities

    As a Graduate Demand Planner at Pick n Pay’s Kenilworth office in Cape Town, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the right products are available on the shelves at the right time. Your responsibilities will be diverse, allowing you to engage in both analytics and demand planning activities. Approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to analytical tasks, involving the examination of stock flow patterns, trend identification, deduction-making, and solution generation. The remaining 40% will focus on demand planning, where you will set and maintain forecasts for new sites and vendors across various articles. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust orders to align with forecast plans, address anomalies, and ensure accurate stock levels during promotions.

     

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Successful completion of Mathematics in Matric
    • Possession of one or more of the following higher education qualifications:
      • Degree in Quantitative Analytics

    • Proficiency in Advanced Excel would be a valuable asset
