    Available Internship Positions at NGB

    1. Finance (SCM) Internship – NGB/Int 001-2025

    • Stipend: R12,000 per month
    • Qualification: A three-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

    This internship position is aimed at graduates with an educational background in logistics or supply chain management. As an intern in this field, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to finance, procurement, and supply chain operations within the public sector. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on improving processes and compliance in the gambling regulatory environment.

    2. Legal Services Internship – NGB/Int 002-2025

    • Stipend: R12,000 per month
    • Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB).

    The legal services internship is ideal for graduates who have completed their LLB degree and are looking for hands-on experience in legal research, compliance, and advisory roles. You will gain exposure to the legal aspects of gambling regulations, policy formulation, and legal frameworks under South African law.

    Key Details about the Internship Program

    • Internship Duration: 12 months (non-renewable contract).
    • Preference: Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates and those living with disabilities.
    • Location: The internship will be based in Pretoria, at the NGB’s headquarters.

    Internship Purpose and Learning Opportunities

    The purpose of these internships is to provide hands-on, practical experience to graduates looking to develop their careers in the fields of finance and law. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals who will mentor you and help you gain valuable skills in the gambling regulatory environment.

    Eligibility Criteria for NGB Internships

    • The internship is only open to candidates who can enter into a twelve-month non-renewable contract with the NGB.
