Hospitality Trainee Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the hospitality domain, including but not limited to:
- Order Management: The trainee will be responsible for maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of all orders. This includes compiling lists of required items, placing orders with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordination: Work closely with different departments to understand their needs and coordinate orders accordingly. This ensures that all necessary items are available when needed.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock counts to monitor inventory levels, track usage, and identify shortages. Maintain accurate records of stock on hand.
- Replenishment: Ensure that stock levels are maintained by ordering new supplies as needed, preventing any disruptions to kitchen operations.
- Loss Prevention: Implement measures to minimize wastage and loss of inventory, including proper storage and handling practices.
- Distribution: Oversee the issuance of ingredients and supplies to different departments within the campus, ensuring they receive what they need to function efficiently.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all items issued, ensuring accountability and traceability of all stock movements.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: N6 in Hospitality.
