    1. Senior State Law Advisor: LP9

    Ref No: 24/108/SLA
    Salary: R1 132 806 – R1 762 857 per annum
    Location: Office of the Chief State Law Adviser, Cape Town

    Requirements:

    • LLB Degree or 4-year recognized legal qualification.
    • Minimum of 8 years post-qualification litigation/legal advisory experience.
    • Admission as an Attorney or Advocate.
    • Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
    • Skills: Legal research, dispute resolution, analytical thinking, and leadership.

    Key Duties:

    • Certify and draft Bills.
    • Provide legal opinions on international agreements.
    • Mentor junior staff.
    • Manage people effectively.
