    This internship programme is specifically designed to support unemployed graduates and is funded by the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA). With the purpose of developing youth employability, it is a perfect gateway for those who are trying to enter the job market.

    Key Details of the CET Graduate Internship Programme

    • Placement Period: 24 months (From 15 November 2024 to 14 November 2026)
    • Eligibility: Youth aged between 18 and 35 years old
    • Application Closing Date: 18 October 2024

    Available Internship Positions

    There are several positions available across different districts in Mpumalanga. The internships provide an opportunity for youth to work in various roles related to public administration, management, and support services. Below is a breakdown of the available positions:

    1. Public Administration/Management Internship

    • Position: ETDP SETA Graduate Internship Programme
    • Centre: Ehlanzeni District, Support Services
    • Reference No: 10/2024/5 (1 post)
    • Stipend: R6500.00 per month
    • Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech Degree in Public Administration or Management.

    2. Support Services Internship

    • Position: ETDP SETA Graduate Internship Programme
    • Centre 1: Kennen CLC, Centre Support Services
    • Reference No: 10/2024/3 (1 post)
    • Centre 2: Vulamehlo CLC, Centre Support Services
    • Reference No: 10/2024/4 (1 post)
    • Stipend: R5000.00 per month
    • Requirements: National N Diploma, Diploma in Public Administration/Management, or Management Assistant.

    3. Finance Services and Centre Support Internship

    • Position: ETDP SETA Graduate Internship Programme
    • Centre 1: Finance Services
    • Reference No: 10/2024/1 (1 post)
    • Centre 2: Rivoningo CLC, Centre Support Services
    • Reference No: 10/2024/2 (1 post)
    • Stipend: R3500.00 per month
    • Requirements: Grade 12 certificate for both positions.

    Requirements for Application

    To apply for the CET Graduate Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    1. Youth between 18 to 35 years old: Applicants should fall within this age range as of the start date of the internship.
    2. Relevant Qualifications: Applicants should have the specific qualifications required for the post they are applying for. For instance, if you’re applying for a management position, you should have a Bachelor’s or B-Tech Degree in Public Administration or Management.
    3. Residency: Applications should be submitted to the district of residence as depicted on the advertisement.

    How to Apply for the Internship

    To apply, interested candidates must follow a simple but specific application process. Here’s what you need to do:

    1. Obtain a Z83 Application Form: The first step in the application process is to obtain a new Z83 Application for Employment Form. You can get this form from any Public Service Department.
    2. Complete the Z83 Form: When filling in the Z83 form, make sure to state the specific field you are applying for (e.g., public administration, finance services, etc.).
    3. Prepare Your Comprehensive CV: Along with the Z83 form, you are required to submit a comprehensive CV. Note that no copies of qualifications, ID, proof of residence, or reference letters should be submitted at this stage. Only the Z83 form and your CV should be included in your application.
    4. Quote the Reference Number: Be sure to quote the reference number of the position you are applying for. Each position has its own unique reference number, which can be found in the details of the job listing (e.g., 10/2024/5 for the Public Administration post in Ehlanzeni District).
    5. Submit Your Application to the District of Residence: Your application must be submitted through the correct district address as depicted on the advertisement. This ensures that your application is received by the right department.
