Current Office of the Chief Justice Vacancies
1. Registrar (Ref No: 2025/56/OCJ)
- Location: Labour and Labour Appeals Court, Johannesburg
- Salary: R324,579 – R1,111,323 per annum (MR3-MR5)
- Requirements:
- Matric certificate and LLB degree or a four-year legal qualification
- Minimum of two years’ legal experience post-qualification
- Labour Court litigation experience is an added advantage
- Duties:
- Facilitate the signing of court orders and writs of execution
- Coordinate case flow management and support the judiciary
- Supervise and manage staff
- Conduct legal research and provide administrative support
2. Human Resources Practitioner (Ref Nos: 2025/57/OCJ & 2025/58/OCJ)
- Locations: Provincial Service Centre, Polokwane and Thohoyandou High Court
- Salary: R325,101 – R382,959 per annum (Level 7)
- Requirements:
- Three-year Degree or National Diploma in HRM/Public Administration/Management or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resource Management within the Public Service
- Knowledge of PERSAL system and a valid driver’s license
- Duties:
- Implement recruitment and selection processes
- Manage conditions of service and performance management systems
- Supervise and develop HR staff
- Maintain HR records and compile reports
3. Administration Clerk (DCRS) (Ref No: 2025/59/OCJ)
- Location: Labour and Labour Appeals Court, Johannesburg
- Salary: R228,321 – R368,950 per annum (Level 5)
- Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Exposure to court-related functions is an added advantage
- Duties:
- Prepare court before proceedings and operate recording equipment
- Perform digital recording of court proceedings
- Provide administrative support in circuit courts
- Collect statistics and manage documents
