Job Requirements
- Qualification: Candidates must possess a relevant Tourism and Marketing or post-matric qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a Call Centre Environment is required.
- Knowledge: Applicants should have a solid understanding of customer service principles, telephone etiquette, and the Tourism and Conservation industry.
- Skills: Excellent communication and writing skills are essential, along with strong computer literacy.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Consultant at SANParks, you will be responsible for:
- Selling SANParks Products: Engage with current and potential customers to promote and sell SANParks products, including reservations for accommodations, tours, and other park-related activities.
- Customer Correspondence: Handle inquiries and correspondence with customers via telephone and email, ensuring that all communication is professional and in line with SANParks standards.
- Reservation Processing: Process booking requests and reservations according to SANParks policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for customers.
- Initiate Payments and Documentation: Facilitate payment processes and send relevant documentation to clients as part of the booking confirmation process.
- Cross-selling and Up-selling: Utilize your sales skills to provide additional information to customers, encouraging them to explore more offerings and opportunities within SANParks.
- Maintain Public Relations: Uphold SANParks’ reputation by providing exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships with customers to inspire loyalty and repeat business.
