General Principles and Requirements

  • Eligibility: Unemployed graduates who have completed at least a three-year Degree/National Diploma or students who need practical workplace exposure to complete their qualification.
  • Academic Performance: Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum 60% aggregate pass mark at the undergraduate level and a minimum 55% pass mark at the postgraduate level.
  • Citizenship: Only open to South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • Exclusions: Students still needing to finish or qualify for a Degree or National Diploma should not apply. Applicants with prior internship experience or formal employment in the field of study will not be considered.
  • Accommodation: GEPF does not provide accommodation for interviews or appointed candidates.
  • Employment Equity: The recruitment process is employment equity compliant, with preference given to people with disabilities.
  • Integrity: Providing false information will result in immediate dismissal.
  • Communication: Only short-listed candidates will be contacted. If you have not been contacted within one month after the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
