Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in social work or an equivalent qualification recognized by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
Registration:
- Applicants must hold current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
Other Requirements:
- Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).

Job Responsibilities

- Advanced Social Work Services:
Deliver individual and group counseling to children and youth, promoting their well-being and addressing social issues. - Assessment and Intervention:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify conditions requiring specific interventions and implement solutions tailored to individual needs. - Record Management:
Keep detailed records of social work interventions and maintain the child and youth care information management system (CYCA). - Research and Development:
Participate in research activities and contribute to policy development in social welfare services. - Administrative Support:
Handle necessary administrative functions related to social work interventions.
