Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’S) of the post.
- Experience: Appropriate experience in financial and expenditure management.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Sound Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Accounting Officer’s System of the Department of Health.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Duties
- Authorising of payments on the BAS and Logis systems.
- Compliance Monitoring including adherence to policies and feedback to Internal Control Audit Findings.
- Maintenance and Clearance of Asset and Liability Accounts.
- Managing Revenue and Petty Cash Administration.
- Compilation of Annual Financial Statements, In Year Monitoring (IYM), Leases and 30 Day Payment Reporting.
- Human Resource Development and Management.
- Support to Supervisor and Finance Component.
