- Grade 2: A Minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Nursing Assistant with SANC.
- Grade 3: A Minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Nursing Assistant with SANC.

Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services
SALARY : Grade 1: R181 230 per annum Grade 2: R211 401 per annum
Grade 3: R249 141 per annum
CENTRE : Metro TB Hospital Complex (DP Marais Hospital)
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant. Registration
with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant.
Experience: Grade 1: None after registration with SANC as a Nursing
Assistant. Grade 2: A Minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Nursing Assistant with SANC.
Grade 3: A Minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Nursing Assistant with SANC. Inherent
requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime, shifts, public holidays
and weekends. Willingness to rotate within the institution. Competencies
(knowledge/skills): Knowledge of nursing processes and procedures as outlined in nursing, health related public service legislation, regulation and
policies. Skills to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to function within the multi-disciplinary team and facilitate on the level of the
advertised position.
