Job Responsibilities
As an Administration Officer in Supply Chain Management, you will:
- Assist with the request for Quotation/Tender processes.
- Support the development of terms of reference and manage briefing/site inspection processes.
- Provide assistance during Quotation/Tender evaluation processes.
- Generate purchase orders and process invoices efficiently.
- Help manage governance, risk, and compliance matters to ensure adherence to SANBI’s policies and frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:
- Qualification: A national diploma in Supply Chain Management (or equivalent, NQF 6) with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a degree (NQF 7) with at least 2 years of relevant experience. A postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is an added advantage.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in procurement systems.
- Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and frameworks related to supply chain management.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, and Generally Recognised Accounting Practices (GRAP).
- Advanced planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Report writing and people management abilities.
- Competency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Internet, and Outlook).
- Additional Requirements:
- A valid driver’s licence with at least one year of practical driving experience.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
