    Job Responsibilities

    As an Administration Officer in Supply Chain Management, you will:

    1. Assist with the request for Quotation/Tender processes.
    2. Support the development of terms of reference and manage briefing/site inspection processes.
    3. Provide assistance during Quotation/Tender evaluation processes.
    4. Generate purchase orders and process invoices efficiently.
    5. Help manage governance, risk, and compliance matters to ensure adherence to SANBI’s policies and frameworks.

    Minimum Requirements

    Candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

    • Qualification: A national diploma in Supply Chain Management (or equivalent, NQF 6) with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a degree (NQF 7) with at least 2 years of relevant experience. A postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is an added advantage.
    • Skills and Knowledge:
      • Proficiency in procurement systems.
      • Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and frameworks related to supply chain management.
      • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, and Generally Recognised Accounting Practices (GRAP).
      • Advanced planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication.
      • Report writing and people management abilities.
      • Competency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Internet, and Outlook).
    • Additional Requirements:
      • A valid driver’s licence with at least one year of practical driving experience.
      • Willingness to travel as needed.
