About the Capricorn TVET College Internship Programme
The Internship Programme offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while being supported with a stipend. The programme spans 18 months, with participants receiving a monthly stipend of R3500.00.
This internship is tailored for students who have successfully completed the N6 qualification in the following disciplines:
- Management Assistant
- Public Administration
- HR Management
- Finance Management
- Hospitality
- Marketing Management
By participating in this programme, students can develop the skills and experience necessary for a successful career in these fields. The internship also aims to enhance employability by providing real-world exposure and a chance to build a professional network.
What is the Capricorn TVET College Internship Programme?
The Internship Programme is an educational initiative funded by the Education, Training, and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA). The programme offers former students of the college an opportunity to gain work experience while working towards obtaining their National Diplomas.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the internship programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of N6 qualification: Applicants must have completed their N6 qualification in one of the listed fields.
- Age and Qualifications: Applicants must submit a signed application letter, along with a detailed CV and certified copies of qualifications and identification documents (no older than three months). Please note that faxed or emailed applications will not be accepted.
- Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 30 April 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
- Past Participation in Funded Internship Programmes: Individuals who have already participated in or completed an internship programme funded by any SETA are not eligible for this opportunity.

Application Process
Interested candidates are required to submit a signed application letter along with their CV and certified copies of their qualifications and ID. These documents should be delivered to the Capricorn TVET College Central Office, located at 16 & 18 Market Street, Polokwane.
The deadline for submitting applications is 30 April 2025.
