Greys Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Programme Co-ordinator with expertise in Transplant Coordination to join their dynamic team. This Grade 1 position offers a competitive salary, 13th cheque, medical aid (optional), home owners allowance, and more.
Requirements:
- Senior Certificate/Grade 12 or equivalent
- Degree/Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or equivalent qualification
- Registration with South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse
- Minimum of 7 years experience in nursing after registration
- Valid code 08 driver’s license (recommended)
- Computer Literacy with 2 years experience in Renal or Critical Care Nursing

Duties:
- Identification, assessment, and management of potential cadaver donors
- Coordination and cross-cover with other transplant coordinators
- Facilitation of organ donation in the KZN province
- Liaison with the transplant team at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital complex
- Coordination of potential donors’ workup procedures and processes
- Promotion and awareness creation of organ donation
- Counseling of relatives/family of potential donors
- After-hours clinical participation in all transplant-related activities
- Education to Trauma, Theatre, Critical Care, Out-patient, and clinical staff
- Support facility in the development and implementation of institutional policies
