ECD Facilitator Job Description
Northlink College is seeking qualified individuals to fill the part-time ECD facilitator positions in Early Childhood Development at the Goodwood Campus. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to contribute to the academic and personal growth of students.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Higher Certificate or N-Diploma Level in Early Childhood Development/Education or related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of facilitation experience.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
- Skills: Computer literacy, registered assessor (mandatory), and registered moderator (preferred).
- Other: Valid driver’s licence and SACE registration.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitation and Assessment: Conduct classes, facilitate learning, assess student progress, and moderate assessments.
- Classroom Management: Maintain discipline and manage the classroom environment effectively.
- Administration: Perform academic administration tasks and generate required reports.
- Site Visits: Visit workplaces to assess the implementation of learning in real-world settings.
- Portfolio Management: Manage and collate Portfolios of Evidence for internal and external moderation.
- Meetings: Attend moderation meetings and participate in learning material reviews.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other reasonable tasks as delegated by the Head of Department.
