Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Senior certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with appropriate experience /competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.
- Experience: Appropriate experience in Financial Management and Supply Chain Management.
- Appropriate Experience in Logis and BAS.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of In- Year monitoring and reporting, AFS reporting, BAS, and LOGIS, National and Provincial Treasury Regulations as well as the Accounting Officers System of the Department and PFMA.
- Good communication skills Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Good communication skills.
Duties
- Responsible for the effective and efficient functioning and co-ordination of the Finance, Supply Chain Department division and Transport.
- Responsible for control of expenditure and allocated budget.
- Draw all financial reports: expenses per month and expenditure commitments etc.
- Monthly Compilation of supply chain and Finance reports (IYM).
- Compilation of inputs into Financial Statements (IFS and AFS).
- Management of Stores.
- Ensure clearing of Assets and Liability Accounts.
- Authorizing of Journals and payments, Logis functions, EPS transactions and all Audit queries.
- Training of subordinates and new appointees.
