Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) / Grade 9 / STD7.
  • Experience: Appropriate supervisory experience of staff and mortuary administration.
  • Inherent requirements of the job: A Valid driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to work night shifts, public holidays, weekends, overtime and be on standby.
  • Competencies (knowledge/skills): Computer skills (MS Office, Excel and Word).
  • Knowledge of applicable death administration legislations and relevant policies.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control.

Duties

  • Responsible for overall supervision and management of Porters.
  • Management of mortuary equipment, assets and consumables.
  • Ensure effective and efficient mortuary administration and handling of bodies.
  • To provide an effective and efficient support to Support Services Managers.
