- BSc degree (Hon) (NQF 8) in Pasture Science or Agronomy or Crop Science or Botany as recognized by SAQA.
- Valid compulsory registration with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a professional Natural Scientist.
- Three (3) years post-qualification natural scientific experience.
- Technical Competencies: Programme and project management.
- Scientific methodologies and models.
- Research and development.
- Computeraided scientific applications.
- Knowledge of legal compliance.
