    Department: Integrated Environment Management

    1. Position: Principal Officer – Environmental Law and Auditing

    • Sub-Division: Environmental Law and Auditing
    • Salary: R436,728 – R541,392 per annum (excluding benefits)
    • Requirements:
      • Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
      • 5–8 years of experience in Environmental Law, Auditing, or Compliance Monitoring, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Attributes:
      • Organizational awareness, compliance monitoring, negotiation skills, resilience, and stakeholder management.
    • Key Performance Areas:
      • Conduct environmental compliance inspections.
      • Manage environmental complaints and ensure adherence to environmental legislation.
      • Oversee human resource management within the section.

    2. Position: Principal Officer – Climate Change

    • Sub-Division: Climate Change and Air Quality
    • Salary: R436,728 – R541,392 per annum (excluding benefits)
    • Requirements:
      • Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
      • 5–8 years of experience in Climate Change or Air Quality Management, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Attributes:
      • Planning, resilience, coaching, service orientation, and stakeholder relations.
    • Key Performance Areas:
      • Plan and manage climate change programs.
      • Develop and revise environmental policies.
      • Provide exceptional customer service and reporting.

    3. Position: Environmental Education and Awareness Officer

    • Sub-Division: Environmental Planning and Management
    • Salary: R386,184 – R479,340 per annum (excluding benefits)
    • Requirements:
      • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Environmental Management, Education, or Natural Sciences.
      • 2 years of experience in Environmental Management or Education.
    • Attributes:
      • Strategy implementation, communication, compliance monitoring, and team orientation.
    • Key Performance Areas:
      • Conduct environmental education and awareness activities.
      • Participate in environmental forums and workshops.
      • Prepare comprehensive reports on environmental programs.

    Department: Corporate Support Services

    4. Position: Practitioner – Occupational Health and Safety

    • Sub-Division: Occupational Health and Safety
    • Salary: R386,184 – R541,392 per annum (excluding benefits)
    • Requirements:
      • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, or Environmental Health.
      • 2–5 years of relevant experience.
      • Valid driver’s license.
    • Attributes:
      • Organizational awareness, risk assessment, planning, and negotiation.
    • Key Performance Areas:
      • Conduct health and safety inspections and audits.
      • Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
      • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.

    5. Position: System Administrator – Information Technology

    • Sub-Division: Information Communication Technology
    • Salary: R386,184 – R541,392 per annum (excluding benefits)
    • Requirements:
      • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Information Technology or Business Information Systems.
      • 1–2 years of relevant experience.
      • Valid driver’s license.
    • Attributes:
      • Business communication, technical strategy, consulting, and planning.
    • Key Performance Areas:
      • Provide system and end-user support.
      • Manage continuous IT system improvement.
      • Maintain IT administrative processes.

    6. Position: Assistant Manager – Recruitment and Human Capital Administration

    • Sub-Division: Human Capital Management
    • Salary: R640,920 – R813,624 per annum (excluding benefits)
    • Requirements:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
      • 8 years of experience in recruitment and human capital administration.
      • Extensive knowledge of PayDay System preferred.
    • Attributes:
      • Talent management, strategic HR planning, organizational awareness, and compensation management.
    • Key Performance Areas:
      • Oversee recruitment and selection processes.
      • Develop and implement HR policies and strategies.
      • Manage payroll administration and employee benefits.

    Department: Strategic Investment Program

    7. Position: Assistant Manager – Project Implementation Support

    • Sub-Division: Catalytic Investment Program
    • Salary: R640,920 – R813,624 per annum (excluding benefits)
    • Requirements:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
      • 8+ years of relevant experience post-registration.
      • Computer literacy in MS Office.
    • Attributes:
      • Project management, leadership, compliance monitoring, and risk management.
    • Key Performance Areas:
      • Manage infrastructure projects and oversee contract management.
      • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
      • Prepare financial reports and monitor stakeholder relations.
