    Molemole Local Municipality Job Vacancies

    1.Molemole Local Municipality Job Vacancies: Department of Corporate Services

    Position: Secretary Corporate Services

    • Task Grade Level: 08
    • Annual Salary: R 231 818.04 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification.
    • National Diploma or N6 Certificate in Human Resource Management, Public Management, Secretarial or Office Administration.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in time management, organizing, planning, and typing skills.
    • Computer literacy is mandatory.
    • At least one year of work experience in local government is essential.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Manager.
    • Managing the Senior Manager’s diary and coordinating office activities.
    • Responsible for minutes taking, record keeping, and report writing.
    • Offering support across divisions within the Corporate Services department.

    2. Molemole Local Municipality Job Vacancies: Department of Community Services

    Position: Trainee Traffic Officers (10 positions)

    • Duration: 12 Months

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Must hold a fitness certificate.
    • No criminal record.
    • Excellent communication and computer literacy skills.
    • Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 and reside within the Molemole Local Municipality. Proof of residence is required.

    3. Molemole Local Municipality Job Vacancies: Department of Technical Services

    Position: Electrical Artisan (2 positions)

    • Task Grade Level: 12
    • Annual Salary: R 409 579.20 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
    • N6 in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) with trade test or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
    • Valid Code C1 driver’s license.
    • At least two years of relevant experience in the electrical field.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
    • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure system reliability.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to team members.

    Position: General Assistant

    • Task Grade Level: 6
    • Annual Salary: R 170 307.48 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 10/NQF Level 2.
    • Relevant experience in cleaning or maintenance.
    • Good listening and communication skills.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in teams.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Perform labor tasks related to water and sewer maintenance.
    • Assist plumbers with laying pipes and installing water meters.
    • Clean work sites and manage tools and equipment.

    4. Molemole Local Municipality Job Vacancies: Department of Budget and Treasury

    Position: Secretary

    • Task Grade Level: 08
    • Annual Salary: R 231 818.04 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 and NQF Level 6 in Accounting or related fields.
    • At least one year of work experience in local government.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to the CFO.
    • Manage the CFO’s diary and coordinate office activities.
    • Minute-taking, record keeping, and report writing.

    Position: Manager Reporting

    • Task Grade Level: 16
    • Annual Salary: R 634 300.56 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 and NQF Level 7 in Accounting, Financial Management, or related fields.
    • Minimum of three years in a supervisory role.
    • A valid driver’s license and knowledge of GRAP standards and Case-ware.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Prepare financial statements following GRAP.
    • Manage financial accounting systems and ensure compliance.
    • Review monthly reconciliations and manage the coordination of Annual Financial Statements.

    5. Department of Municipal Manager’s Office

    Position: Senior Internal Auditor

    • Task Grade Level: 12
    • Annual Salary: R 409 579.20 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 and National Diploma or higher in Internal Audit, Auditing, or Accounting.
    • At least three years of experience in an audit environment.
    • Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA) is advantageous.
    • Valid driver’s license.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to the Audit Committee.
    • Review municipal performance information and financial statements.
    • Manage audit initiatives and coordinate AG activities.

    6. Department of Local Economic Development and Planning

    Position: Land Use Officer

    • Task Grade Level: 10
    • Annual Salary: R 293 869.32 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 and B-Degree in Urban/Town and Regional Planning.
    • Proof of SACPLAN registration as a Professional Planner or Candidate Planner.
    • Minimum of one year of experience in land use management.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and process land use applications.
    • Implement land use policies and zoning regulations.
    • Conduct land use audits and public consultations.

    Position: Building Inspector

    • Task Grade Level: 12
    • Annual Salary: R 409 579.20 (Plus Benefits)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 and National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields.
    • At least three years of experience in Building Plan assessment.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Examine building plans to ensure compliance.
    • Inspect construction sites and monitor progress.
    • Issue contravention notices when necessary.
