    Mpumalanga EPWP Vacancies 2025 - 2027

    The Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs (DARDLEA) is inviting South African women, youth, and persons with disabilities between the ages of 16 and 65 to apply for various Expanded Public Works Programme – EPWP vacancies for the period 2025 to 2027.     Available Mpumalanga EPWP Vacancies

    1. Site Keeper – 6 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10, able to read and write.
    2. Admin Assistant – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 12, qualification in Administration, valid driver’s license (Code EB), computer literacy.
    3. Cleaner – 3 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10 or ABET Level 4.
    4. Animal Health Technician – 3 positions
      • Requirements: Diploma in Animal Health or equivalent, registration with SAVC, Code EB driver’s license.
    5. Tractor Drivers – 11 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 8, Code B driver’s license, 3 years experience operating a tractor.

    Ehlanzeni District

    1. Farm Workers – 100 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10 or 12.
    2. Lab Assistant – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 12, NQF Level 4, at least 1 year of experience in Analytical Labs.
    3. Cleaner – 5 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10.
    4. Animal Health Technician – 2 positions
      • Requirements: Diploma in Animal Health or equivalent, registration with SAVC, Code EB driver’s license.
    5. Admin Assistant (District Directors Office) – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 12, qualification in Administration, good communication skills, computer literacy.

    Gert Sibande District

    1. Admin Assistant – 1 position (District Directors Office)
      • Requirements: Grade 12, qualification in Administration.
    2. Cleaner – 6 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10 or ABET Level 4.
    3. Farm Aid/GA – 4 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10.
    4. Mechanics – 8 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 8, 1-year experience in diesel mechanics, Code B driver’s license.
    5. Tractor Drivers – 12 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 8, Code B driver’s license, 3 years experience operating a tractor.

    Bohlabela District

    1. Admin Assistant – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 12, qualification in Administration, valid driver’s license.
    2. Animal Health Technician – 3 positions
      • Requirements: Diploma in Animal Health or equivalent, registration with SAVC, Code EB driver’s license.
    3. Cleaner – 3 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10 or ABET Level 4.
    4. Mechanics – 3 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 8, 1-year experience in diesel mechanics, Code B driver’s license.

    Environmental Centres (Various Locations)

    1. Cleaner – Multiple positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10 or ABET Level 4.
    2. Groundsman – Multiple positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10, able to work at night, security qualifications will be an advantage.
    3. Admin Assistant – Multiple positions
      • Requirements: Grade 12, qualification in Administration, computer literacy.
    4. Food Service Aid – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 10.

    Head Office (Mbombela)

    1. Switchboard Operator – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 12, good verbal and written communication skills.
    2. Secretary (Admin Assistants) – 18 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent, computer literacy.
    3. Data Capturers – 12 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 12, computer literacy.
    4. Driver/Messenger – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 12, valid driver’s license, Code C1 (Code 10), and valid PDP.

    Additional Positions

    1. Admin Assistant (Agricultural Producer Support) – 2 positions
      • Requirements: Grade 12 and computer literate.
    2. Groundsman – Multiple positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10.
    3. Farm Aid/GA – 4 positions

      • Requirements: Grade 10.

    Environmental Empowerment (Various Locations)

    1. Admin Assistant – 1 position
      • Requirements: Grade 12, Diploma in Public Administration.
    2. Groundsman – Multiple positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10, security qualification will be an added advantage.
    3. Cleaner – Multiple positions
      • Requirements: Grade 10 or ABET Level 4.
