    pThe Western Cape Government is looking for a dedicated and highly organized to fill Personal Assistant Vacancy to join the Transport Regulations team.     Minimum Requirements:

    • Education: Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) plus an accredited secretarial diploma and/or administrative qualification at NQF Level 5 or higher.
    • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in providing support to management or senior management.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Secretarial Support: Provide secretarial and receptionist support to the Chief Director.
    • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks and manage the Chief Director’s budget.
    • Meeting Coordination: Support the Chief Director with meeting arrangements and documentation.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Understand and apply relevant public service and departmental policies and procedures.

      • Relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
      • Office Administration
      • Database and Records Management
      • Procurement processes
      • Basic financial administration
      • Government functioning and processes
      • Information support systems (e.g., BAS, MYTRACK)

      • Organizational and people skills
      • Written communication and report writing
      • Research and problem-solving
      • Good telephone etiquette and client liaison
      • High reliability and discretion
      • Effective communication with diverse individuals
      • Self-management and motivation

    Remuneration:

    • Annual Salary: R 308,154 (Salary Level 7)
    • Additional Benefits: Medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, and other benefits as per applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
