Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the RSR bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.
- Age: Applicants must be between 15 and 35 years old.
- Education Level:
- Must be in Matric (2024) or have completed Matric.
- Should intend to study or already be studying full-time toward an undergraduate qualification in the listed fields.
- Institution Requirement: Must be enrolled or accepted to study at an accredited South African tertiary institution, including TVET colleges, universities of technology, and public or private universities.
- Academic Performance:
- If entering the first year in 2025, a minimum overall average of 65% in Grade 11 final results or Matric mid-term results is required.
- If already studying, an average of 65% in the current year of study is necessary.
- No Alternative Sponsorship: Applicants must not be receiving financial assistance or a bursary from another organization.
