Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the RSR bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.

  3. Education Level:
    • Must be in Matric (2024) or have completed Matric.
    • Should intend to study or already be studying full-time toward an undergraduate qualification in the listed fields.
  4. Institution Requirement: Must be enrolled or accepted to study at an accredited South African tertiary institution, including TVET colleges, universities of technology, and public or private universities.
  5. Academic Performance:
    • If entering the first year in 2025, a minimum overall average of 65% in Grade 11 final results or Matric mid-term results is required.
    • If already studying, an average of 65% in the current year of study is necessary.
  6. No Alternative Sponsorship: Applicants must not be receiving financial assistance or a bursary from another organization.
