Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- Relevant degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum of 2 years Supply Chain experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Competent in MS Office: This means the individual has the necessary skills and proficiency to effectively use the Microsoft Office suite, including programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Understanding of SCM processes and legislative framework: This indicates that the individual has knowledge and comprehension of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes and the laws and regulations that govern them. This includes understanding various aspects such as procurement, logistics, inventory management, and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Report writing skills: This suggests that the individual has the ability to effectively create and communicate information in written form. This includes clarity of expression, organization of ideas, and adherence to appropriate formatting and structure when writing reports.
- Valid Driver’s License: This means that the individual holds a current and legally recognized driver’s license, permitting them to operate a motor vehicle on public roads. This is often required for roles that involve driving as part of the job responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with registering suppliers on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) National Treasury.
- Provide Support to departments on service on CSD.
- Verify the accurate documentation for procurement.
- Responsible for uploading of appointment letters for operations and maintenance and CAPEX projects, and contracts registers.
- Compiling of appointments letters for the regions, tenders awards and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Responsible for departmental payments and compilation of submissions.
- Provide information related to BBBEE procurement.
- Responsible for compilation of credit applications.
- Responsible for opening and closing of tenders, distribution and representing SCM at tender briefing sessions.
- Give inputs for monthly and quarterly reports.
- Responsible to prepare for quotations committee Meetings and taking if minutes.
- Prepare for BEC and BAC packs for submission to Secretariat.
- Ensure Compliance to Confidentiality Statements.
- Observe all Health and Safety protocol and procedures.
- All Assignments as directed from time to time.
