SYSTEMS DEVELOPER
The ARC-Central Office (ARC-CO) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced and dynamic person to the following position at Hatfield, Pretoria: System Developer
Key Performance Areas:
- Analyse user requirements.
- Research, design and write new software programs.
- System testing.
- Make enhancements on the current applications.
- Integration between the systems.
- Write technical specifications and test plans.
- Develop new systems.
- Undertake system maintenance and bug fixes.
- Develop mobile applications.
- Investigate and research new technologies and developments within the ICT environment.
Requirements:
- National Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and maintaining web-based systems.
- Strong skills in writing queries in one of the main Relational Database Management Systems (eg MS SQL and Oracle).
- Net programming experience (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET) Knowledge of Oracle will be advantageous.
- Strong PHP programming skills.
- Strong Knowledge for Animal Breeding Industry and related societies.
