Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
The Trainee Network Analyst will be responsible for learning and assisting with the following tasks:
- Network and Telecommunications Support:
Providing technical support for voice and data communications under supervision. - Hardware and Software Installation:
Installing and configuring ICT hardware and software components as per municipal requirements. - Technical Evaluations:
Conducting assessments of hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality. - Consultancy Service:
Offering basic consultancy services to various municipal units under supervision. - Infrastructure Maintenance:
Maintaining and upgrading the Municipality’s network and telecommunications infrastructure.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
A Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field or an equivalent qualification. - Driving License:
A valid motor vehicle driving license is required.
Special Note:
Individuals who have already participated in a Government or private sector internship, in-service training, or WIL program for 12 months or more are ineligible for this position.
