    Are you a recent UNISA graduate looking for an opportunity to gain practical work experience? The UNISA Internship Program 2025 is now open for applications. This is an excellent opportunity for unemployed South African citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification equivalent to NQF level 6 and above to kick-start their careers.


    Requirements

    To be considered for the UNISA Internship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Must be a South African citizen
    • Must be a UNISA graduate with a qualification of NQF level 6 or higher
    • Must not have formal work experience in the field of application
    • Must not have been previously appointed at UNISA or any other organization for an internship
    • Age requirement: Not older than 35 years
    • Must submit separate applications for multiple positions

    Important: The position reference number and UNISA student number must be accurately indicated when applying.

    Available Internship Positions

    UNISA offers internship opportunities in various departments across its campuses. Below are the available positions:

    1. Laboratories and Horticulture Centre (Florida Campus)

    • Reference Number: HAM/10/2025

    • Qualification Required: Diploma in Ornamental Horticulture and Diploma in Agriculture (Crop Production)
    • Number of Positions: 10

    2. Library and Information Services (Muckleneuk Campus)

    • Qualification Required:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science OR
      • Postgraduate diploma in Library and Information Science
      • BA Archives and Records Management and History
    • Number of Positions: 3

    Internship Benefits

    • Duration: 12 months
    • Start Date: 1 April 2025
    • Stipend: R120 925.00 per annum

    This is a paid internship opportunity that provides valuable workplace experience and allows interns to enhance their career prospects.

    • Certified copy of UNISA Completed Qualification

    • Closing Date: 27 February 2025 (by 16h00 sharp)

    Late applications will not be considered, so apply on time.

    Selection Process

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not receive feedback within 30 days after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
    • Interviews will be scheduled by the employer, and candidates must avail themselves on the given dates.
    • Background checks will be conducted for successful candidates.
    • Relocation costs will be at the intern’s own expense.
