Duties
As a WCED eLearning Graduate Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the eLearning staff with various digital resourcing tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Software Support: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications. Ensure that all software tools used by the eLearning team are up to date and functioning correctly.
- Hardware Assistance: Help with the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and other digital devices. This includes diagnosing hardware issues and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- Cloud Services Management: Aid in the management and optimization of cloud-based services and resources. This involves ensuring that cloud storage is effectively utilized and secure, and that all eLearning materials are accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to eLearning staff, addressing any software or hardware issues they encounter. This includes responding to technical queries and providing solutions to enhance productivity.
- Documentation Preparation: Assist in preparing and organizing project files, documents, and resources. This includes creating templates, formatting documents, and ensuring that all project materials are well-organized and easily accessible.
- Data Collection and Collation: Collect and compile data related to project performance and outcomes. This involves gathering data from various sources, analyzing it, and presenting it in a meaningful way to track project progress and success.
- Report Compilation: Compile meeting notes, progress reports, and other documentation required for project management. Ensure that all reports are accurate, comprehensive, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the eLearning team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating logistics for project-related activities.
- Meeting Attendance: Attend meetings with development teams, service providers, and senior curriculum officials. Actively participate in discussions, provide input, and take detailed notes to document key decisions and action items.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development and implementation of eLearning solutions. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed about project progress and updates.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between the eLearning team and external stakeholders. This involves drafting and sending emails, preparing presentations, and ensuring that all communications are professional and concise.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including educators, service providers, and other partners. This includes addressing any concerns or issues that arise and working towards mutually beneficial solutions.
- Training and Workshops: Participate in training sessions and workshops designed to enhance your technical skills and knowledge in areas such as software development, project management, and digital education.

Knowledge and Skills:
