Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for the ICT Tutors positions:
- Education: Matric + Level 4 qualification in ICT
- Experience: Previous work experience in ICT is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
As an ICT Tutor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN): Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of WAN and LAN networks at the central office or campus. Ensure network stability and efficiency to support educational activities.
- Managing and Maintaining Servers: Regularly monitor server performance, perform routine maintenance, and ensure the security of server data. Address any server issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Providing User Support and Resolving End-User Problems: Assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues related to ICT. Provide timely solutions and support to enhance user experience.
- Managing Day-to-Day Backups of the System: Implement and oversee regular backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. Restore data as needed and maintain accurate backup records.
- Installing and Maintaining System and Application Software: Ensure all ICT systems and applications are up-to-date and running smoothly. Perform software installations, updates, and troubleshooting as required.
- Conducting Training Sessions for Students and Staff: Organize and lead training sessions to educate students and staff on using ICT resources effectively. Provide guidance on best practices and new technologies.
- Developing and Updating ICT Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ICT procedures, network configurations, and user guides. Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date.
- Ensuring Network Security: Implement and enforce security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats. Regularly review and update security protocols.
- Monitoring and Reporting on ICT Infrastructure: Regularly assess the performance of ICT infrastructure and report on its status. Provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participating in ICT Projects: Contribute to the planning, execution, and management of ICT projects aimed at improving the college’s technological capabilities. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
- Supporting Online Learning Platforms: Assist in the setup and maintenance of online learning platforms used by the college. Ensure that these platforms are user-friendly and accessible to all students and staff.
- Troubleshooting Hardware Issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware problems with computers, printers, and other ICT equipment. Perform repairs or coordinate with external vendors for repairs when necessary.
