Minimum requirement:

Duties:

  • Regular and Special Diet Meals: Prepare a wide range of dietary meals following strict nutritional guidelines to cater to the specific needs of patients, such as low-sodium, diabetic, and gluten-free options.
  • Menu Planning: Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare professionals to plan weekly menus that meet the dietary requirements and preferences of patients.
  • Cooking and Assembly: Execute cooking techniques that preserve the nutrient content of food, and assemble meals ensuring they are visually appealing and properly portioned.
  • Timely Service: Ensure meals are served on time, maintaining a schedule that aligns with patient medication and treatment regimes.
  • Patient Interaction: Provide friendly and respectful interaction with patients during meal service, offering brief explanations about the meals when necessary.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and report feedback from patients and staff concerning meal preferences, quality, and presentation, which is crucial for continuous improvement.
