Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Artisan Fitter position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Qualification(s):
- Fitter & Turner Trade Qualification
- Equivalent fitter qualification registered and recognised by the Government of RSA.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience in a similar environment.
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:
- Proficiency in fitting tasks and use of basic hand tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic planning skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with mechanical measuring equipment and knowledge of component drawings.
