They are currently seeking 17 Administrative Assistants to join their Claims Division on a 12-month fixed-term contract. With a salary of R244,732.00 per annum, this role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to an organization dedicated to providing rehabilitation and compensation to road accident victims.


    Administrative Assistant Job Overview

    Administrative Assistant Job Description

    Administrative Assistants will provide crucial day-to-day support to their respective departments. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with organizational standards, managing office coordination tasks, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Compliance Administration

    • Maintain updated documentation of business activities.
    • Ensure adherence to policies and internal standards.
    • Monitor business processes for compliance and control.

    2. Office Coordination

    • Handle correspondence, filing, and telephonic queries.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all office matters.
    • Assist with follow-ups on unresolved issues.
    • Ensure availability of office supplies and accurate document handling.
    • Manage departmental registers and systems.

    3. Meeting Support

    • Arrange and confirm meetings.
    • Take and distribute minutes as per governance standards.
    • Track unresolved meeting matters and manage follow-up plans.

    4. Document and Records Management

    • Maintain records and filing systems according to RAF’s filing plan.
    • Facilitate document retrieval and ensure confidentiality.
    • Acknowledge receipt of documents and update records accordingly.

    Requirements

    To qualify for this role, applicants need:

    • A Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
    • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or similar role.

    Competencies and Skills Required

    Successful candidates must demonstrate:

    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Excellent administrative and document management abilities.
    • Writing skills and basic understanding of supply chain management (SCM) processes.
    • Ability to make sound decisions, maintain client service orientation, and uphold ethical values.
