    Child Welfare Tshwane Fundraising & Marketing Manager Job Opportunity Details

    • Salary: R23,000 per month

    Child Welfare Tshwane (CWT) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing the well-being and development of vulnerable children, families, and communities in the Tshwane region and beyond.     Mission: Child Welfare Tshwane aims to improve the quality of life for children and families by offering comprehensive support services, advocating for child protection, and fostering community engagement.     Services and Programs

    • Child Protection: CWT offers intervention and support services for children who are at risk of abuse or neglect. This includes counseling, legal support, and emergency care.
    • Family Support: The organization provides assistance to families in crisis, including parenting programs, financial aid, and family counseling.
    • Community Outreach: CWT engages in community education and awareness campaigns to promote child welfare and prevent abuse.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Fundraising Activities: Write proposals for international foundations, plan and execute local fundraising events, and oversee large funding bids.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Chair, Board members, and Executive Committee. Coordinate with colleagues, manage volunteers, and liaise with suppliers.
    • Reporting: Report directly to the Director, providing updates and insights on fundraising and marketing efforts.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Background: Experience in fundraising or marketing and communications, with a relevant qualification or equivalent workplace skills.
    • Skills: Proven ability to organize events, manage donor relationships, and create effective publicity and communications.
    • Representation: Ability to effectively represent Child Welfare Tshwane to donors and funders.
