Educational Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Nursing (Basic R425 qualification), which qualifies for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- A one-year post-basic qualification in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment, and Care (specific to Primary Health Care).
Registration:
- Current registration with SANC for 2024, indicating an active Professional Nurse status.
Experience:
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in nursing after registration with SANC in General Nursing.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Enforcing compliance with quality and infection prevention protocols such as the Ideal Clinic Realization and Maintenance (ICRM) and Norms and Standards (N&S).
- Collecting, collating, and analyzing data for quality improvement in service delivery.
Staff Development and Performance Management:
- Coordinating staff training and development to increase expertise in patient care.
- Evaluating staff performance regularly and ensuring accountability and adherence to institutional policies.
