    Key Responsibilities for Security Officers

    4. CCTV Surveillance: You’ll be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras to observe any unusual activities and respond appropriately.
    5. Biometric Enrollment: Enrolling staff members in the building’s biometric system to maintain a digital record of access.
    6. Weekend Access: Providing access to staff members needing entry on weekends.

    Requirements

    • Education: A Grade 12 certificate (matric) is required.
    • Skills and Knowledge:
      • Understanding of physical security procedures and processes.
      • Knowledge of the safety and security legislative framework.

    • Certification: PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) Grade C certification is required.
