    FASSET is thrilled to announce three vacancies for the role of Project Administrator. These positions are crucial for managing and supporting a variety of projects within the organization. The selected candidates will be responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining detailed documentation, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.

    FASSET Project Administrator (3 Positions)

    • Closing Date: 30 August 2024, 16:00
    • Commencement Date: As soon as possible
    • Annual Total Cost to Company (TCTC): R351,112.21 (non-negotiable)
    • Department/Unit: PQA
    • Reporting To: Project Specialist
    • Position Type: Permanent
    • Location: FASSET

    Purpose of the Job

    The Project Administrator will provide essential administrative and coordination support for the Project Department, ensuring efficient project management and smooth operation of various initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Client Interaction: Address client queries via phone, face-to-face, and written communication. Manage call center referrals and maintain high service quality.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed and updated to ensure high service delivery standards.
    • Document Management: Maintain and organize important documents, invoices, and contracts. Implement and manage an efficient filing system for quick document retrieval.
    • Project Support: Update project records, assist in project visits, and coordinate logistics for site visits. Support project delivery and track performance indicators.
    • Administrative Duties: Provide secretariat support including minute-taking and organizing meetings. Prepare event documents and manage logistics for events.
    • Financial Administration: Manage invoice payments, track project expenditures, and provide financial support during audits. Handle bursary applications and related documentation.
    • Reporting: Prepare and review SETMIS reports, commitment schedules, provisions, and accruals.

    Required Qualifications

    • Qualification: Diploma in Business Management, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Internal Auditing, or a relevant qualification at NQF Level 6.

    Required Experience

    • Essential: At least 2 years of administrative experience.
    • Advantageous: Experience in bursary administration.

      • Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
      • Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
      • Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
      • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
