Qualifications

  • Degree: Hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
  • Registration: Currently registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Pharmacy student.

Skills

  • Providing or performing services related to the scope of practice of a Pharmacist’s Assistant (Post-Basic).
  • Engaging in education and training by performing services or acts pertaining to the scope of practice of a Pharmacist.

  1. Application Submission:
    • Complete the new Z83 form, Download Z83 Application Form
    • Attach a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a copy of your ID.
    • Ensure all sections of the Z83 form (Parts A, C, and D) are fully completed and signed. South African applicants do not need to provide passport numbers. Some sections in Part B can be marked as not applicable if they do not pertain to the applicant’s situation.
  2. Separate Applications:
    • If applying for more than one centre, submit separate applications for each.
  3. Interview and Documentation:
    • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview and must provide certified copies of all relevant qualifications and ID at that time.
  4. Application Reference Number:
    • Quote the reference number (Ref: S4/1/1) on the Z83 application form.
  5. Application Deadline:
    • The closing date for applications is 30 August 2024.
