Requirements

  1. Educational Qualifications:
    • National Diploma in Business Management with a special focus on marketing.
  2. Experience:
    • 2 to 3 years of experience in a formal marketing role or a similar position.
  3. Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of market research techniques.

    • Solid grasp of social media and web analytics.
    • Knowledge of MS Office and marketing software.
    • A valid code 08/10 driver’s license.

As the Marketing and Brand Officer, your responsibilities will include the following key areas:

  • Marketing Strategy Implementation:
    • Contribute to the successful implementation of marketing strategies that align with iSimangaliso’s goals.
  • Support for Department Operations:
    • Assist the Marketing and Brand Manager in overseeing department operations to ensure all marketing activities run smoothly.
  • Brand Awareness Initiatives:
    • Organize and attend marketing events or activities aimed at raising brand awareness.
  • Advertising and Promotional Campaigns:
    • Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services across various media platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to enhance the success of marketing activities and strengthen the company’s presence.
  • Project Management:
    • See marketing ventures through to completion, ensuring they are evaluated using appropriate metrics.
  • Content Creation and Distribution:
    • Prepare and oversee the distribution of marketing materials across various platforms.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct research to identify new promotional and growth opportunities.
  • Budget and Expense Management:
    • Collaborate with managers to prepare budgets and monitor marketing-related expenses.
