Internship Requirements
To qualify for the NLC Graduate and Student Interns Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Have completed an N6 National Certificate.
- Be an unemployed student requiring experiential training for 18 months.
- Have never participated in an internship program before.
- Be a South African citizen.
Application Process
Interested candidates must complete the official application form available through the NLC’s online portal. Along with the application form, candidates are required to submit the following documents:
- A concise Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Certified copies of the applicant’s ID document, senior certificate (Grade 12), and post-matric qualifications (including academic transcripts).
- A one-page letter of motivation, clearly indicating the department, division, provincial office, or CHIETA Smart Skills Centre they are applying for.
